Exit and Withdraw
Definition: Withdrawals refer to the process of transferring ETH from a validator's account on Ethereum's consensus layer (the Beacon Chain) to the execution layer, where it can be freely transacted. There are two types of withdrawals in the Ethereum blockchain: partial and full.
Category: Staking
Example: If a validator has accumulated rewards and wishes to access them without ceasing their validation duties, they would use partial withdrawals. Conversely, if they decide to stop validating entirely, they would initiate a full withdrawal.
